I know you will enjoy the classes. So if you have always thought 'one day l will take a class' make this your ONE DAY' as you will never regret it This is the list of all the single classes l do. They soon get booked up so if you would like to take a class , just let me know. They cost £25 each but the longer classes are a little more. LAYERING CLASS AND THE SLASH TECHNIQUE In this class you will learn to do lots of different types of layering fabrics and papers, its magic how a few pieces of fabric can be changed into another piece off fabric to use when making wall hangings ,bags /purses ,book covers, l could go on and on there are so many different things you could make. You will also learn to use a soldering iron, don't be shocked, yes a real soldering iron, it make's fantastic designs. Also in this class is a chenille class, we all have seen chenille for years but l got such a shock when l did it as it was so easy to learn. You will be able to make a lovely bag/purse out of it. Price £30 FREE MOTION EMBROIDERY CLASS AND HOW TO USE ROMEO This is the fme class otherwise known as 'free motion embroidery' you will not have to own a expensive upmarket sewing machine, as long as you can lower the feed dogs you can do this class . Don't be put of by some books that tell you its hard to do as it isn't. One thing l love about it is that you don't have to be neat about it, as the name say's free and that's what it is. Then you can make so many things with it. Also there will be a extra class and its learning things to make with Romeo, this is a soft clear plastic material but you can do the same as fme and you will have a lovely lacy fabric that can be used in so many ways, you can even cut pieces of it and use as embellishments. But one crazy thing l used it for was to make a sculptured head and it took ten minutes to do and a day to dry . Also with romeo you can make flower’s and embroiderd bowls and fantastic beads. Its such a fun thing to use, you will love it. Price £30 SHIBORI DYEING This is fabric dying at its very best and the beauty of it is you get fantastic patterns just from folding and twisting fabric. The first piece l did was at collage l couldn't believe my eyes when it was dry, its like having a beautiful designer pattern without doing a lot and many people just leave it like that ,then some bead and embroider it but if you did that it only needs a small amount as its wonderful on its own. In this class there will be two different classes of shibori so you will have some beautiful fabric, if they are any doll makers taking this class its fantastic for the dolls body. Also l did one for a tablecloth for an anniversary and some students once they have learnt to do it made shibore bedding . I think one of the nicest things to do with panel of shiborie is to frame it or us it as a wall hanging. £25 INDIAN DELIGHTS CLASS This is a favourite class of the students, you will end up with a lovely wall hanging in lots of beautiful bright colours . You will learn the Indian style crazy quilting with lots of embellishments like beads, charms, ribbon flowers ect Also embroidering round shisha mirrors which light up the embroidery. With this class you will get a outline drawing of a Indian elephant with alls its robes and jewellery.and all the stitches will be drawn in stages as well as me telling you. You will be using bright and beautiful thread colours that India is known for. Also bead embroidery is included which is different than just beading, you use different embroidery stitches with the beads not on their own. You will have a lot of fun making this wall piece with its bright colours and beads and maybe you will put Indian bells onto it which l always like using. £30 MAKE A WALL HANGING LIKE MY INDIAN DREAMS HANGING Make a beautiful wall hanging just by using all your small pieces of fabric that you didn't think you would ever use, layering sheer's will be in the class, also rubber stamping, working with foils and using puff paint to give it a lot of texture. It will not be a square or long hanging as the shape is one thing that makes it and you will get the shape, You will be using foils and how to use metal on a sewing machine, l love the different shapes l think there far more fun doing than just the straight ones. Also you will learn how to do raw edged appliqué and tyvek shapes.
